My FIRST
recorded piece of Ambient/Space music performed completely on Chapman
Stick! This is a rough recording but I figured "Hey - this is
supposed to be an AMBIENT STICK site - so where is the Stick Music?
" I performed this by plugging my 12 string Paduak Stick with
PASV4 pickup into Native Instruments Guitar Rig 2. I have an
ambient wash patch I have been working on for a while and started
playing around with it. After a while I decided to turn on Guitar
Rigs' built in 2-track tape deck and just record what I was doing.
There are no overdubs or loops. In fact, most of this was just
playing - no knob or effect twiddling at all. Afterwards I saved
the file and brought it into WaveLab to compress it a bit and add a
little bottom end to it. I think it might need a bit
more. In any case, this song is only in it's beginning stages -
